Our Rights

Administrators reserve the right to...
-Access and edit any data in the database at any time.
-Edit these policies at any time for any reason without notice.
-Treat you like crap if you treat us like crap. But we would prefer a more civilized way of doing things, please be nice.

Privacy Policies

-We will not voluntarily release any personal information about you such as, but not limited to, your name, age, email, mac addresses, or internet protocol (IP) addresses to anyone who is not a staff member of BallersMS. However, if you get nailed by the FBI and they want your info, we'll hand it over.
-Your passwords are stored in our database. We suggest you make up a new password for BallersMS that you won't forget.
-If you make a complaint about the server or about a GM you will remain anonymous.

Disciplinary Policies

-All GM's must give at least 1 warning before taking action against a player. If the player continues to break the rules 1 minute after they have been warned, a GM is allowed to take action.
-GM's must provide a reason for jailing/banning someone as well as the length of time.
-A GM can bypass a warning and 1st offense if they give a reason to why they did it.
-These rules apply for GM's and Admins.
-These rules are to be obeyed in game, in the chat box, and in the forums.
-No one should receive over an hour in jail.
-Advertising us on other servers will result in permanent ban. We do not promote our server in any way except on voting websites.
-Threatening the server will result in a permanent ban off of the forums, chat, and game.
-Attacking other servers (such as, but not limited to, DDoS attacks or spam bots) will result in permanent ban.
-If you reach your 4th offense on any policy with 3 offenses listed you will be permanently banned
-A world tour may be issues as a warning to any offenses
-If you attempt to cheat during an event you will be ejected from the event and/or world toured.

It shouldn't have to be said, but these disciplinary policies, where applicable, apply to the XAT box, Vent, and forums as well. It is up the XAT moderator present at the time to determine the punishment within reason. If a moderator is not present to deal with the offender, it is recommended that a screenshot be taken and reported to a moderator or admin as soon as possible. If a screenshot is taken, be sure to include the offender's XAT ID. This can be obtained by clicking on the XAT name of the offender.
In the instance that the offense occurs within the forums, you are to immediately notify an admin or moderator.

WZ Edits (excuding UI edits)
Upon warning, you are to immediately obtain clean WZ files or the custom ones from our site. It should also be noted that, depending on the severity, it is up to the GM to decide an appropriate consequence. If it is apparent that you are purposely using these edits to obtain an unfair advantage of any sorts, you will be banned with no warning.
1st offense: Permanent ban.

Disrespect towards staff or the server
This includes intentionally making the server look bad
1st offense: 1 hour jail and mute
2nd offense: 1 day ban.
3rd offense: Permanent ban.

Distributing false information about the staff or the server.
Depending on the severity, it is up to the GM to decide an appropriate consequence.

Spamming/begging
1st offense: 10 minute mute.
2nd offense: 1 hour mute.
3rd offense: 1 day mute.

Excessive profanity in smegas, free market, vent, or chat box.
1st offense: 10 minute jail.
2nd offense: 1 hour jail.
3rd offense: 1 day ban.

Bypassing/evading jail
1st offense: 1 day ban.
2nd offense: Permanent ban.

Advertising
Just because you mention another server doesn’t mean you’re advertising it. If you however suggest that the server is better than ours or you seem to have intentions of recruiting you will be banned.
1st offense: 30 minute jail. Permanent ban if they advertise another server.
2nd offense: 1 day ban.
3rd offense: Permanent ban.

Harassing or degrading anyone.
This includes the negative impersonation of anyone
This includes libel and slander
1st offense: Jail for 15 minutes.
2nd offense: 1 day ban
3rd offense: Permanent ban.

Hacking
1st offense: Permanent ban with no warning. If a hacker is in a party, ban all party members too

KSing
Offending party will be world toured as a warning.
1st offense: Separation of both parties and watch one of the parties. If one .party starts to KS the other party, the KSing party get jailed for 30 minutes.
2nd offense: 1 hour jail.
3rd offense: 1 day ban.

Not listening to GM's
1st offense: jail for 15 minutes.
2nd offense: 1 day ban.
3rd offense: 2 day ban.
If you are in an event you will just be warped out. If you continue you will be banned.

Impersonating a GM
1st offense: 1 day ban and account wipe depending on severity.
2nd offense: Permanent ban.

Failing to report a major glitch within 12 hours of it being discovered (Something that gives you an unfair advantage over everyone ):
1st offense: 1 day ban (and maybe an account wipe).
2nd offense: Permanent ban.
*Note: Minor glitches that do not give you an advantage are still glitches. It is highly advisable that you report the glitch as soon as possible. Punishment for minor glitches will be a warning based upon the severity of the 'minor' glitch.

Promoting the use of drugs or alcohol or discussing it in public
1st offense: Warning
2nd offense: Jail for 30 minutes
3rd Offense: Permanent ban.

Discussion of the following topics are not allowed to be discussed in public view
i.e. Detailed sexal talks (necrophilia, incest, pedophilia, rape, beastiality, etc...)
Drugs
Hacking
Game exploits
1st offense: Warning
2nd offense: Jail for 30 minutes (If you use $say while being jailed you will receive 1 day ban)
3rd offense: 1 day ban.
4th offense: Permanent ban.
